Club Meetings

Our meeting place is the ‘The Center’, the Rowle B. Simmons Community Center on 1280 E Rosser St, just off Route 89 in Prescott.

The club meets on the second Wednesday each month at 6:00 PM with some social time and a mini swap meet.  At 7:00 PM we begin with a short business meeting followed by a model, prototype, or local railroad historical presentation.

Model Train Show

This year’s event will be on August 10, 2024.   Up to 150 tables of model trains,supplies and memorabilia. 
Largest model train swap meet and show in Arizona. Check back often for more information.

Our Story

The Central Arizona Model Railroad Club serves the Quad City region (Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Paulden, Dewey-Humboldt) of central Arizona. The club serves as an information and social resource for its members as well as engaging in public service activities. Many members have home layouts representing all the popular scales and gauges.

If you have a model train collection that you need removed, send us your information by clicking the Red button below and we will try to help.  Our club does not  buy collections but if you like you may donate your items to our club.
